You might be familiar with the term ‘Karen’, which represents a stereotypical, usually blonde, white woman, with an annoying attitude. The ‘Karens’ are described as rude, obnoxious, and insufferable middle-aged women who always get everything wrong and are recognizable by always making a scene over nothing and often demanding to “speak to the manager”.

‘I don’t live with her anymore but all I can say is this – Living with her was just an exhausting nightmare’. She is the type of person that will give you 100 reasons why is her day worse than yours if you even try to complain. If you just came out of a surgery room in a hospital, she complain about an itching nerve in her shoulder that would somehow be worse. If you’re taking a week’s break after just getting back from college, she’ll ask why you haven’t gotten a job yet and claim you’re lazy.

If you go out with her to a restaurant the food will always be too hot or too cold, too salty or not salty at all. She was just like that – complains about anything and everything. She is literally that toxic person who always seeks attention, not only in real life but on social media too – she had to post everything on Facebook and always starts fights in comments about different conservative propaganda.

I was literally married to a male Karen

He was so annoying, literally, everything could set him off. He couldn’t keep anything to himself. Once we were at a coffee shop and he was trying to use the wifi but it was slow. Keep in mind he had full bars on our cell service. The manager, a super nice guy, comes over and asks how we are doing, while he washes some glasses in the dish pit on the other side of the bar. My husband is super irritated at this made-up problem because our cell service is working just fine and he can literally just turn off the WiFi. He tells the manager that the wifi is fu*king trash. The manager politely explained that they have just updated the internet and that Cox is sending them a new modem. He didn’t care and continued swearing and mumbling.

Life with a male Karen is nothing easier than with a female Karen. Almost five years listening to a male Karen complaining about everything and just spreading bad and negative vibes. How horrifying is that from 1 to 10?
